From outdated kitchen to modern dream space.
The Problem
When Eileen and her husband Dougie bought their house in 2019 they felt that it was old fashioned and in need of an update. They decided to start with their kitchen, and challenged the team at Bliss to turn a 70’s nightmare into their modern dream kitchen.
The Solution
Eileen contacted Joanne who promptly went for a site visit and an initial consultation. This was important so she could understand what Eileen and Dougie were looking for, what their budget was and what could be achieved.
Following discussions, Joanne suggested some ideas and based on their budget and location, she introduced Eileen and Dougie to Howdens, who in turn arranged for a designer to visit the property to measure up and undertake a free kitchen design which would then be installed by the team at Bliss. Eileen and Dougie were then invited into the branch to view the 3D designs on a big screen and make any required alterations to the design.
Unfortunately, this happened just before the UK went into lockdown in March 2020, and Eileen and Dougie had to wait a few months before their materials could be delivered.
Going the extra mile
Despite the lockdown delay, Joanne and the team at Bliss kept the couple constantly informed of new deadlines. Thanks to Joanne’s amazing project management skills (and a great effort from the fitter, Harry and the entire team at Bliss!) once the materials arrived Eileen and Dougie had a new kitchen fitted and installed quickly.
Not only did the couple install a brand new kitchen, they also decided to invest in new flooring, and completely redecorate the room to a bright, modern white. The end result? See for yourselves!
